WELCOME on the website of the IG Professional- & Offshore - Ship Model Building Berlin We are 10 model makers who combine our passion for functional models from the field of commercial shipping. The focus is on ships from the offshore and tugboat sectors as well as merchant shipping with its various designs. As with the big companies, the DGzRS units are indispensable for us too. Each of us has been pursuing the hobby of "model ship building" for several years. This can be seen in the model categories from tugs to submarines, in which we present our existing ship models. We build some of our models from kits, which we then like to modify based on photos of the originals. Other ship models were or are built based on original plans or even just photos of the original. We also have models that are entirely our own construction. Most model ships are functional models. They are fully maneuverable. Several have nautical lighting and some have other special functions, depending on the model, mood or technical feasibility. The model building area "vehicles" is also very important to us. In this area we present our trucks, tanks, crawlers and other vehicles. However, this will take place via a separate website, which will then be found in the footer. We are delighted about every visit to our website and your interest in our hobby. Just as our models develop, so does this website. As we are constantly adding reports and photos of our activities, it is worth visiting us from time to time.
